Gustie Basketball and Leadership Camps

The "Gustie" Basketball and Leadership Camp began operation in 1982 under the direction of Bob Erdman. That first summer camp had 28 campers. Many years later it continues to be the most popular camp in Minnesota.

Mark Hanson has been the director since 2008.  He has continued to encourage the value of leadership in the lives and play of players of all levels.

The popularity of the camp is derived from a number of factors. Our coaches are excellent teachers of the game and care about kids. They expect a lot from campers and campers appreciate the push and encouragement the coaches give them.

We have a balanced program that gives intense basketball time, quality leadership presentations, and time to use the outstanding facilities at Gustavus and enjoy new and old friends at camp.
